In the late afternoon we were traveling along a trail in the Moremi Game Reserve, in the eastern part of the Okavango delta. The road was often interrupted by wooden bridges that allow people to cross over when water levels rise during the rainy season.
I was in the car with two friends, one of whom is very good at spotting even the most hidden animals. The leopard is one of the animals that fascinates me most, and it is also very shy and difficult to spot. In the middle of the bridge, my friend Giorgio saw this magnificent creature lying in the grass a few meters from us. Remaining in the car, we were able to admire and photograph the leopard, until it decided to stretch his legs and moved behind the bushes.
